Charlton Athletic boss Nathan Jones defended his Luton Town connection after they claimed a late draw at Hull City.
Substitute Luke Berry’s header won his side a share of the points after Joe Gelhardt’s early second-half strike had put the Tigers ahead.
And Jones praised his former Luton charges Berry and James Bree – who provided the assist from a corner – in the aftermath.
He said: “Sometimes I’m a bit animated when people question that they are Luton players, but they are my players. I signed them for that club.
