ROVERS SNARE MATHIAS – AT LAST

BLACKBURN have finally bagged Danish striker Mathias Jorgensen after being gazumped by Bodo/Glimt last summer.
The 25-year-old was pursued by several clubs after scoring 21 goals in 47 games for Danish topflight side Aalborg.
However, Rovers’ attempts to lure him to Ewood Park foundered when the reigning Norwegian champions had a 3m euro offer accepted.
Jorgensen scored four goals in 14 appearances for Bodo/Glimt and played three games in the Champions League, but - with the Norwegian season over - has now been permitted to join Blackburn for an undisclosed ...
