April 7, 2012 will forever be known as David Norris Day by grateful Portsmouth supporters.
It was the 93rd and final minute of a typically frantic South Coast derby when the midfielder ran onto a dropping ball 20 yards out.
Just moments earlier, Billy Sharp’s second goal of the game had put promotion-chasing Southampton 2-1ahead and sent St Mary’s into rapture.
