Ross McCormack signs new three year contract with Fulham

has put pen to paper on a new three year contract with .

The 29-year-old joined the Cottagers from in the summer of 2014 for a fee believed to be around £11 million.

In his first season with the West London club McCormack scored 19 times and he has so far netted 18 goals during the current campaign.

The Scotland international came through the academy set up at Rangers and made 11 appearances for the Ibrox club before joining Motherwell in 2006.

After leaving Motherwell, McCormack spent two seasons at before joining Leeds in 2010 where he scored 53 league goals in 144 games.

The forward handed in a transfer request during the January transfer window after he was the subject of reported interest from clubs in both the and the but it know appears as though he has had a change of heart.

McCormack has worn the captains armband at Fulham on multiple occasions this season in the absence of  usual captain Scott Parker.

After relegation from the Premier years ago Fulham have had a difficult time adapting to life in the second tier. They are currently sitting in 18th place in the Championship and face at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
