ROTHERHAM United have terminated the contract of Spanish defender Daniel Ayala by mutual consent. The 33-year-old made seven appearances for the Millers after joining on a deal until the end of the season in October. However, he was sent off in successive games in December and has not featured since because of a long-term achilles tendon injury.
