Preston defender Andrew Hughes says comeback king Emil Riis has been a major factor in the Lilywhites’ recent resurgence.
Riis, 25, ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in Preston’s first game of 2023 and was out of action for almost a year.
The Danish striker returned to the squad at the end of December and scored his first goal for 469 days in a 2-0 victory over Cardiff at the start of last month.
