QPR boss Marti Cifuentes has backed Lucas Andersen to prove his worth after snapping up the former Ajax midfielder on a free transfer.
Andersen, 29, made 54 appearances during a four-year stint with the Dutch giants before leaving to join Swiss side Grasshoppers in 2016.
Capped seven times by Denmark, he subsequently moved to Aalborg in his homeland, where he spent a year working under Cifuentes.
Recently released from his Aalborg contract by mutual agreement, he immediately signed for the Hoops.
