Controversial opener sets Whites on way
Leeds United boss Daniel Farke couldn't hide his delight after they beat Yorkshire rivals Rotherham 3-0 to maintain their promotion push.
With leaders Leicester and second-placed Southampton both winning, the Whites, in third, needed maximum points.
After Patrick Bamford put Leeds ahead with heavy suggestions of handball, Crysencio Summerville scored the other two, one from the spot, to seal victory.
Manager of the Month Farke said: “Someone mentioned it's a possible handball or the ball was deflected by Patrick's arm. For me, it's not possible to judge it. “Today it was not important because we created so many chances.
“Even if this situation would have been disallowed, it would still be the same outcome. Rotherham never gave up so we are happy with the 3-0.”
Faltering Ipswich drew 2-2 against West Brom.
