Classy Ben’s so keen to kick on with PNE

Preston have received a boost with the news that midfielder Ben Whiteman has penned a new ‘long-term’ deal with the club.
The 27-year-old was due to be out of contract at the end of the season, but he’s now committed his future to the Lilywhites.
Whiteman has been a regular starter since his arrival at Deepdale from Doncaster in 2021, having featured 133 times for the club and taken the armband on a number of occasions.
“I’m really pleased it’s all done now because I only ever saw my future being here and now I can kick on with PNE,” he told the club website.
