Jon backs Rover stance over Adam

Blackburn Rovers boss Jon Dahl Tomasson has praised the club for rejecting an £18.5m offer from Crystal Palace for teenage midfielder Adam Wharton.
“The club has said no so far and I think that’s good,” said Tomasson. “It needs to be the right market value.
“Everybody knows what I think about Adam. He was a boy when I came here and I saw his talent immediately. He’s not the finished article yet but on the ball he is Champions League level. I have trained and played there, so I know what is needed.
