West Brom forward Josh Maja is facing up to four months on the sidelines and possible surgery following a clash with Sunderland defender Dan Ballard.
Maja, who was making his first return to the Stadium of Light since leaving Sunderland in 2019, was tackled from behind in the 36th minute of West Brom’s 2-1 defeat last weekend.

The striker had just returned from an ankle injury and was making his first start for the club since September.
