Blues to pull out stops to keep ace Romelle

Birmingham are set to offer young winger Romelle Donovan a bumper new contract in a bid to stave off interest from Premier League sides.
A prodigious talent who has excelled for the Blues’ Under-21 team, the 16-year-old signed scholarship terms in the summer and was part of the club’s pre-season sides under former manager John Eustace.
Invited to join first-team training when Wayne Rooney took charge last month, Donovan impressed the former England skipper and, after being included in several matchday squads, was handed his debut in the recent 2-0 defeat to Hull.
