James Husband extends loan spell at Huddersfield

have extended their loan of defender James Husband until early April.

The left back joined the on an emergency loan in January and has since made three appearances.

Husband began his career with where he played a key role in the club’s promotion to the in 2013.

After impressing in the second tier the 22-year-old moved to Middlesbrough for an undisclosed fee in July 2014 and has since made seven appearances for club.

Huddersfield manager David told the club’s official website, “What we have seen from James so far has been good and we need a second left back, as Jason Davidson is the only specialist in our squad.

“James has settled well and fits well into the group. His attributes fit our style and we are happy that he will remain with us.”

The Terriers are currently sitting in 17th place in the Championship after Saturday’s defeat at .
