Sheffield Wednesday defender Michael Ihiekwe reckons a raucous Hillsborough faithful can ensure there is “no ceiling” on the club’s aspirations back in the Championship.
The famous old ground was rocking last season as the Owls overturned a 4-0 first-leg League One play-off semi-final deficit at Peterborough to triumph 5-1 in front of their own fans and win a penalty shoot-out. They then went on to defeat Barnsley 1-0 at Wembley thanks to Josh Windass’ last-gasp extra-time winner.
