Bright prospect Andy Lyons is relishing the chance to show what he can do at Blackpool in the new year.
The 22-year-old fullback has completed the formalities of his move to Blackpool from Shamrock Rovers and will officially become a Seasider in January.
Lyons, who was recently named PFA Ireland Young Player of the Year, has signed a three-and-ahalf year contract, which includes an option for a further year.
