Managerless Cardiff City are expected to wait until the World Cup break before making a permanent appointment.
Steve Morison was sacked in mid-September and caretaker Mark Hudson has overseen the last seven fixtures.
Hudson’s tenure got off to the perfect start, with a point against high-flying Burnley followed by victories over Blackburn and Wigan.
