DELIGHTED Jon Dahl Tomasson praised the “togetherness” of his Blackburn team and supporters after his reign began with victory over QPR.
New boss Tomasson, who previously managed Swedish side Malmo to two league titles, enjoyed a winning start thanks to his newly-appointed captain, Lewis Travis, who settled the contest with a spectacular 34th-minute curling strike from 25 yards.
The goal came at a time when Rovers were second best.
