Wolves sign Joe Mason from Cardiff

have announced the signing of highly rated 24 year old Joe Mason from .

Mason scored 22 goals in 60 starts for the Welsh side and has joined Wolves for an undisclosed fee. He has signed a contract which will keep him at Molineux until 2019.

The former Republic of Ireland U21 forward has been brought in following the sale of Benik Afobe to earlier in the month, and joins fellow new addition who was brought in yesterday.

He was evidently delighted with the move, telling the club website: “I know the gaffer here has been interested in me for quite a long time. After looking around the place and the training ground, it is a massive club and it is an honor for me to be here”

Wolves are currently sitting in 12th place in the and face financially stricken on Tuesday.
