SHEFFIELD United boss Paul Heckingbottom says it is a case of “the sooner the better” as American media tycoon Henry Mauriss aims to complete his takeover of the Blades.
Mauriss, who previously tried to buy Newcastle, had a £115m offer accepted by current United owner Prince Abdullah on Thursday.
The deal would see Mauriss buy 100 per cent of the Championship club and potentially transform Heckingbottom’s summer transfer plans - if it gets over the line in time.
