JED HELPS TO STEER HATTERS

LUTON manager Nathan Jones believes goalkeeper Jed Steer is an “experienced, safe pair of hands” for the club.
The 29-year-old joined the Hatters on loan from Aston Villa this week having previously enjoyed temporary spells at clubs including Charlton and Huddersfield.
“We needed to take a real experienced, safe pair of hands that we knew that would fit into the environment, and also be good enough to give us a real push until the end of the season,” said Jones, who played with Steer at Yeovil.
“We believe in the interim, this is a good decision for the club.”
