MIDDLESBROUGH defender Dael Fry is looking forward to locking horns with “mentor” Daniel Ayala at Ewood Park tomorrow evening.
Ayala, 31, spent six years on Teesside, scoring 26 goals in 229 appearances and anchoring the side that won promotion to the Premier League under Aitor Karanka.
The Spaniard departed for Blackburn in June 2020, but not before he had eased Fry’s passage from youth team to first-team.
