AUSTRALIA international Riley McGree admits he is sad to see his loan with Birmingham come to an end.
The 23-year-old made 30 appearances for the St Andrew’s outfit and scored three goals.
McGree impressed head coach Lee Bowyer, but with the Blues boss unable to make the move permanent, he has returned to Major League Soccer expansion team Charlotte FC.
McGree said: “It’s sadly come to an end, but it has been a bit of a whirlwind and a good adventure and one that I have good memories from.
