WILL Hondermarck admits this season has exceeded his expectations.
The 20-year-old midfielder was initially signed by Barnsley to play for their Under-23 side, but has impressed so much he has made five appearances in the Championship.
Hondermarck was born in France before moving to Dublin as a boy and was called up by the Republic of Ireland Under-21s for matches against Italy and Sweden.
