MATTY Virtue has thanked Blackpool for their continued support after the injured midfielder signed a contract extension with the club this week.
The 24-year-old, who is currently sidelined with a serious knee injury, would have been out of contract next summer.
However, he will now stay at Bloomfield Road until at least 2023, with the club holding an option to extend that for a further 12 months.
