RACE FOR THE RAMS HEATS UP

INTEREST in taking over stricken Derby County is hotting up – with several parties considered serious bidders.
The Rams went into administration last month and administrators Quantuma are searching for a buyer.
Joint administrator Andrew Hosking said: “Of those who have returned a signed non-disclosure agreement, several have been able to provide the necessary proof of funds we have requested to be considered as a serious bidder.”
BBC Sport reported yesterday that former Derby owner Andy Appleby is among the interested parties.
