ROONEY’S SO CALM IN STORM

WAYNE Rooney has been “outstanding” through Derby’s troubles on and off the pitch, according to his assistant Liam Rosenior.
The former England and Manchester United captain has had a hugely testing start to his managerial career, with the Rams narrowly avoiding relegation from the Championship last season and then being docked 12 points this term after going into administration.
However, Rosenior said: “The manager has been outstanding, and I have tried to support him as much as I can. He has remained calm, measured and in control.”
