TONY Mowbray has praised the quality of defender Daniel Ayala.
The 30-year-old centreback, who was brought in from Middlesbrough in September of last year, set Blackburn Rovers on their way to a 2-0 win over Hull in midweek.
Mowbray feels Ayala’s worth is obvious, and said: “Longevity will prove whether Danny was the right signing or not.
“We have to find a way to manage his workload during the week and get him on the pitch on Saturday.
