MITCHELL ENJOYS TOP DAY WITH THE LIONS…

ALEX Mitchell hailed ‘a dream come true’ after putting pen to paper on a long-term contract and making his Millwall debut on the same day.
The 19-year-old defender came off the bench in the closing stages of his side’s 3-1 Carabao Cup win over Cambridge at The Den on Tuesday night a matter of hours after committing his future to the club.
Mitchell began his teenage years as a rower but has not looked back since joining the Lions academy and hopes to build on his first taste of competitive action in a Millwall shirt.
