WAYNE Rooney is backing Graeme Shinnie to win a Scotland recall and believes teenage full-back Lee Buchanan will earn senior England honours in the next few years.
Shinnie, 29, has not played for Scotland since a 3-0 defeat to Kazakhstan almost two years ago, while 19-year-old Buchanan has represented England up to Under-21 level but not beyond.
However, Rams boss Rooney believes both will be donning national colours in the not-too-distant future.
