DERBY County manager Phillip Cocu praised his team after a three-goal, 30-minute blast ended a run of four matches without a victory in the Championship.
All three Derby goals came in the opening half-hour, with Tom Lawrence scoring twice and Jason Knight adding a third, while Sheffield Wednesday substitute Josh Windass reduced the arrears in the second half.
