BLACKPOOL sacked manager Simon Grayson in midweek after just over seven months in charge.
The decision came following a poor run of results since just before Christmas that have seen the Tangerines lose seven of their last nine league matches.
With the club languishing in 15th in the table, a statement read: “Blackpool FC can confirm that Simon Grayson has today been relieved of his duties as first-team manager.
“The club would like to thank Simon for his efforts during his time back at Bloomfield Road and wish him well for the future.”
