MARK Bonner will be in charge of Cambridge for Tuesday’s clash with Scunthorpe as the search for a new permanent manager continues.
Bonner, 45, was appointed U’s interim head coach following Colin Calderwood’s departure at the end of last month.
“The importance of making sure this decision is the right one for the football club far outweighs the importance of speed,” said Cambridge head of football Ben Strang.
