DAN BURN gave Wigan a glowing report when new Latics signing Leon Balogun asked for his thoughts.
Nigeria defender Balogun, 31, moved to the DW Stadium on deadline day from Brighton, where he played alongside former Latics favourite Burn.
Balogun said: “I spoke to Dan before I travelled here. He’s a great guy and I know that he has a very successful past at this club, and he’s doing very well at Brighton.
“He told me about the manager (Paul Cook) and the group because he’s still in touch with a fair amount of them.
