SCOTT Burgess says Port Vale manager John Askey is helping to develop his game after signing a contract extension.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who has scored three goals in 23 appearances this term, will remain at Vale Park until 2022.
Burgess, who joined from Bury last summer, said: “I feel he (Askey) is really helping me develop both sides of the game.
“I enjoy going forward anyway and the defensive side of the game is the main thing I have had to improve. He has talked about positioning and how I have to be more aggressive, it is only benefiting me.&...
