LEEDS’ STRIKER SHORTAGE COULD COST THEM PROMOTION…

THERE’S only one thing Leeds can do to solve their chronic inability to take chances – buy a striker who scores goals.
It really is that simple.
What did Patrick Bamford get last season? Ten goals. That’s not enough.
What has he got this year? Twelve. That’s not enough, either.
Unless you’re fortunate enough to have wingers and midfielders who hit double figures, a team with genuine designs on promotion needs a striker who gets 20-plus. Just look at Tammy Abraham for Villa last year, or Teemu Pukki for Norwich.
As a manager, your job is to identify problems.
