PUGH’S IN NO RUSH TO BE BOSS

PORT VALE player-coach Danny Pugh is enjoying his experience of the game from the other side, but has no plans to step into management just yet.
The 37-year-old is assisting John Askey with the Valiants, but does not want to step into management at this stage of his career.
Asked if he wanted to become a manager, he said: “I’m not looking that far ahead.
“I just feel, at this moment in time, I’m learning a lot and I’m enjoying what I’m doing.
“It’s still quite a new experience for myself, but I’m loving every minute.”
