ROBINS TO BUY THEIR GROUND

LEAGUE TWO
SWINDON and their Supporters’ Trust have jointly reached an agreement in principle to buy the freehold on the County Ground from Swindon Borough Council.
The 50-50 partnership will see the club and their fans own the premises for the first time in their 140- year existence, subject to final approval.
“If the purchase is complete, it will enable a programme of improvements that will vastly enhance the experience of supporters and improve facilities,” a club statement said.
