CHAMPIONSHIP
ROTHERHAM are trying to sign Brighton loanee Richie Towell on a permanent deal.
The 27-year-old midfielder, who is out of contract in the summer, is on a season-long loan with the Millers and boss Paul Warne has revealed discussions are under way to make that permanent.
He hopes to tie up a deal for the Irishman before the start of next week.
Warne said: “It would be great if he could stay here for the next three years. I would be buzzing at that.
‘He has been a great addition on and off the pitch and is exactly what I want in a player.”
