Jack Hunt has joined Sheffield Wednesday from Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old has spent the first part of this season on loan at Hillsborough where he has made 22 appearances.
Hunt signed for Crystal Palace from Huddersfield for £2 million in 2013 but never made a first team appearance for the Eagles. As well as spending time on loan at Sheffield Wednesday, Hunt has also had temporary spells with Barnsley, Nottingham Forest and Rotherham.
The full-back played 121 times for Huddersfield and played a key role in the Terriers' promotion to the Championship in 2011/12.
Sheffield Wednesday have had a good start to the season and are currently sitting just outside of the play off positions in 7th place following last night's entertaining 3-2 victory over Bolton.
