READING boss Jose Gomes believes Lewis Baker’s previous Championship experience will ensure he settles quickly at the club.
The Royals signed the 23-year-old midfielder on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season after a temporary stay at Leeds was cut short.
“Lewis is a player of undoubted ability who, having grown up at Chelsea, has gone on to regularly represent his country at youth level and earn first-team experience on loan both in England and Holland,” Gomes said. “He also knows what it takes to meet the demands of this division.”
