GARRYMonk has played down Birmingham’s fine league campaign so far and insists he is paying no attention to their league position.
Wins either side of Christmas saw them close the gap on the play-off places, despite a difficult start to the season.
However, for Monk the focus is solely on improving from previous seasons, which have seen them finish no higher than 10th since reaching the play-offs in 2012.
“We’re not interested in where we are in the league table and what this could mean and that could mean,” he said.
