LAMBERT LAMENTS LOSS OF INJURED SKUSE

IPSWICH manager Paul Lambert fears he could be without the influential Cole Skuse for months rather than weeks. The 32-year-old midfielder suffered a knee injury in training and has been ruled out indefinitely.
The timing could not be worse for Lambert who said Skuse has been brilliant for him since replacing Paul Hurst as manager at Portman Road at the end of October.
“Cole has obviously picked up the injury, he’s hurt his knee, and we’ll have to wait and see what comes back from that,” Lambert said.
