LEEDS captain Liam Cooper and Stuart Dallas will be sidelined for the busy Christmas period after sustaining injuries against Sheffield United. United announced on Wednesday that defender Cooper, 27, who came off in the first half of the 1-0 victory at Bramall Lane, had surgery on his knee and is expected to be fit in six weeks.
The club also said a foot fracture suffered by Dallas, 27, who has recently played at right-back, would see him out for between four and six weeks.
