DUANE Holmes hopes to kick on at Derby after making his first start of the season.
The 24-year-old midfielder, a deadline-day signing from Scunthorpe, finally made his full debut against Birmingham.
“I’ve had to bide my time and wait for my chance, but that comes with the squad that we’ve got here,” Holmes said.
