CREWE Alexandra striker Chris Porter has had his contract extended by a further 12 months after the club triggered a clause in his deal.
The 34-year-old made his 50th appearance for Alex in the win at Stevenage, with his contract now set to expire in June 2020.
The initial deal was due to run until the end of the current season after he joined the club in summer 2017.
Porter has scored three goals in 14 appearances so far this season, adding to his 12 goals in 37 last campaign that have kept the club away from the relegation zone.
