SHREWSBURY Town striker Lee Angol says that becoming a father has made him more determined to be a success at the club.
The summer signing from Mansfield, 24, had scored three goals in six outings pre-weekend and, while new dads can sometimes buckle under the strain, Angol says new daughter Romey will keep his mind on the job.
“Having a baby is motivating, so it’s not something that is going to put me off – if anything it’s going to make me want to do more,” he said.
