PORT Vale assistant-boss Lee Nogan hopes midfielder Manny Oyeleke can stay fit to spearhead a promotion push.
Oyeleke, 25, recently returned from a hamstring problem and his displays showed how crucial he will be to any bid to be in the end-ofseason mix.
Nogan said: “Manny’s an important player. We’ve not got him on the pitch enough.
“If he can stay hopefully injury-free for the majority of the season I think he will be a big player for us. Not only for himself, but the other players around him.”
