CARSLEY’S GOODBYE TO BLUES

CHAMPIONSHIP
THE Birmingham backroom reshuffle continued this week with the departure of assistant manager Lee Carsley.
Former Republic of Ireland international midfielder Carsley has left by mutual consent following the decision of new boss Garry Monk to bring in Pep Clotet to work alongside him.
Carsley, who played for Birmingham from 2008- 2010, returned to St Andrews last year to work with the Under-23s.
He also embarked on a role with England Under- 21s part-time.
He was caretaker manager after Harry Redknapp’s departure.
