MANAGER Lee Clark is offering a bed for the summer to James Vaughan in a desperate bid to keep Bury’s star striker away from any other potential suitors.
The 28-year-old, signed last summer, took his tally for the season to 24 goals last weekend after netting twice in the 3-0 triumph over Northampton.
Former Everton hitman Vaughan trails only Billy Sharp (29) in the goalscoring charts for League One, and Clark is under no illusions that he faces a battle to keep his prized asset at Gigg Lane next term.
