Bristol City have signed Norwich City winger Elliott Bennett on a 93-day emergency loan deal.
The Robins sit bottom of the Championship after one win in 10 league games and Bennett's season hasn't fared much better for Premier League Norwich; struggling to break into the first team and playing only two matches for the senior side – both coming in the Capital One Cup.
The 26 year-old won promotion to the Championship with Brighton in 2010/2011 and was pivotal in the Seagulls' campaign with 18 league assists and six goals.
Such form sealed a £1.2m summer move to Carrow Road for Bennett, where he became ever-present under Paul Lambert, making 33 appearances in the Premier League as the Canaries finished 11th.
Bad luck followed for the Wolves academy graduate with a knee injury ruling him out of the 2013/2014 season, that has led to him falling down the ranks.
Bennett made 19 appearances last term, the majority on loan at Brighton. His new deal at Ashton Gate will expire on 3rd January.
